Here’s a vibrant sauce bursting with freshness and bone-healthy ingredients!

Try whipping up this simple Cilantro Lime Crema, a delicious way to add flavor to steaks, tacos, and burritos.

This recipe features Greek yogurt – or coconut yogurt, if you want a dairy-free option! – as the base, both of which are good sources of calcium, a mineral essential for bone health.

It only takes 5 minutes to come together, but the added flavor to your meal is an absolute game-changer.

Cilantro Lime Crema | Gluten-Free | BoneCoach™ Recipes

SERVES: 4

PREP TIME: 5 minutes

Ingredients

1/2 cup grass-fed whole milk plain Greek yogurt (or plain coconut yogurt)

1 tbsp (15ml) avocado mayo (or vegan mayo)

1/4 cup (60ml) fresh cilantro leaves

1 small clove garlic, peeled

zest of 1 lime

1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lime juice

1/4 tsp (1ml) sea salt

Directions

1) Place all the ingredients into a food processor. Puree until smooth and creamy.

2) Store in the fridge until ready to serve. Can be eaten with vegetable crudites, tacos, grilled vegetables and steak!
