Dear Kevin,

I really appreciate the work you do. I am feeling a bit excited and wanted to share this news. Even though my doctor is still very much urging me to take the osteo drugs (which is her job) I was encouraged to read these words in my recent DEXA test:
There is statistically significant increase in bone density over the L1-L4 region.

I joined your program about a year ago, after a Dexa test showing -3.5 in my lumbar spine. 14 months later, it was -3.1. My doctors told me I couldnt change my score without taking drugs within such a short time, but I did! I began my weight and impact training, and I take your supplements, and take in the info from your videos. I have not changed my eating much, but I eat pretty well.

“I just got a DEXA scan yesterday. My lumbar score in November of 2022 was -4.0 and the left hip score was -2.1. The result from yesterday, same machine, same technician: lumbar was -3.9 and left hip was -1.8.

Go figure! The comment from the interpreting doctor attached to the lumbar score was: “This is a 6.7% increase in bone mineral density.”

Well, yay! Seems small, but definitely going in the right direction. Not sure what’s done it. Is it all the protein? (Significantly more than my normal for the last few years.) Or the hiking? But I’ve been doing that for the last several years, except the last year in Tonga – just walking there. Or the weights? Dead lifting, but not very much, really. Whatever it is, thank you all. Thank you all. Not done, but thank you.”

“Hi Coach Kevin!

I can’t remember the exact question you asked on your FB maybe a year ago or two, but I remember responding, “Antarctica!”

I had a Dexa scan result this June, and I regained some bone density. That motivated me to plan my lifetime dream to go to Antarctica.

The expedition was amazing, and I felt like I was on another planet or something. I even went hiking a couple of times and felt so accomplished.

A small group of us still meet on Zoom. We exchange information, support and encouraged each other. I sincerely appreciate what you have been doing to help people.
