Pan-Seared Romaine Hearts | GF, DF | BoneCoach™ Recipes


TOTAL TIME: 5 minutes


1 romaine heart, halved lengthwise

2 tsp avocado oil

1/8 tsp sea salt


1) Heat an iron skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add in the oil and sprinkle with salt. Place the romaine halves, cut-side down. Sear for 2 minutes then flip over, and sear for another 2 minutes. Transfer onto a plate and enjoy! Feel free to grate on some cheese or sprinkle on nutritional yeast for an extra decadent vegetable dish.
