About the guest

Joining us today to explore the role of environmental toxins, red light therapy, and bone health is Dr. Vivian Chen, a UK-trained medical doctor with over 15 years of clinical experience and board certification in internal medicine and family practice. Her approach to health shifted after her daughter was hospitalized as a newborn with unexplained symptoms—an experience that led Dr. Chen to uncover the role of environmental toxicity in both her daughter’s recovery and her own long-standing fatigue, acne, and brain fog.

That journey opened her eyes to root causes rarely addressed in conventional medicine. After moving to the San Francisco Bay Area, she made it her mission to help people reduce their toxin load and address overlooked environmental exposures. Today, she educates through her platform, Plateful Health, and is the co-founder of the red light therapy company LUMEBOX.
