Ingredients
  • 2 lbs (908g) ground turkey / chicken / pork / veal
  • 1 cup (250ml) grated apple
  • 1 tsp (5ml) ground sage
  • 1 tsp (5ml) garlic powder
  • 1 tsp (5ml) sea salt
Directions
  1. Combine all the ingredients together and work with your hands to really mix everything together.
  2. Form the mixture into 16 patties.
  3. Heat an iron skillet over medium heat. Once hot, cook the patties for approximately 7 to 8 minutes per side until golden brown on the outside and cooked through in the center.
  4. Patties can be cooled and frozen faor a quick breakfast or lunch option! Accompany it with some roasted sweet potato wedges and braised cabbage for a delicious meal.
