Collagen-Infused Matcha Smoothie | Gluten-Free, Dairy Free

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp organic ceremonial grade matcha tea
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) hot water
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) frozen zucchini slices
  • 1/2 ripe frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) water
  • 4-5 ice cubes
  • 1/2 oz (15g) raw macadamia nuts, soaked for 4-6 hours or overnight
  • 1 scoop (13g) Healthy Bones Co. Collagen Peptides
Directions
  1. Whisk together the matcha and water and set aside.
  2. In a blender combine the zucchini, banana, water, ice, macadamia nuts and collagen. Blend until it is smooth, but still resembles a slushy consistency.
  3. Pour the smoothie into a glass and pour the matcha over it and give it a stir before enjoying!

Note: Feel free to add a scoop of your favourite protein powder to the smoothie to make it a complete meal.
