Made with ground turkey, chicken, pork, or veal, it delivers essential amino acids needed for maintaining bone strength. 

Garlic and ginger add anti-inflammatory benefits, while coleslaw mix provides fiber and vitamin C, which plays a key role in collagen formation for healthy bones. 

A splash of coconut aminos enhances the flavor while keeping it gluten-free.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb (454g) ground turkey / chicken / pork / veal
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) extra virgin olive oil (or sesame oil for more fragrance!)
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 14 oz (397g) bag of coleslaw mix
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) coconut aminos (or gluten-free tamari or salt for SCD diet)
Directions
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, brown the ground meat, about 5-6 minutes. Once cooked, set aside. Discard the fat.
  2. Using the same skillet, add the oil, coleslaw mix, garlic and ginger. Sauté for 3-4 minutes, stirring well and then add in the coconut aminos and the cooked ground meat. Toss well and enjoy immediately with rice or cauliflower rice!
