Nutty and perfectly golden brown, our Pan-Seared Brussels Sprouts might just be the perfect autumn vegetable.
These come together in 10 minutes (twice as fast as cooking them in the oven!) and they're the perfect accompaniment to your favorite protein, like free-range organic chicken or turkey.
Plus, brussels sprouts are jam-packed with bone-supporting nutrients including vitamin K, vitamin C, folate, and fiber.
Our Pan-Seared Brussels Sprouts are certainly delicious enough to serve to guests...but you may not want to share once you taste them!
1) Heat an iron skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add oil and place brussels sprouts cut side down on the pan. Season with salt and sear for 3-4 minutes until golden.
2) Using a spatula, carefully flip the brussels sprouts. Drizzle the lemon juice all over and cook for another 3-4 minutes until just fork tender. Enjoy immediately.
